Do not attempt to modify DIP switch settings until power has been removed and 5 minutes have
passed to allow internal voltage to discharge.
To adjust system settings, make sure power is off for five minutes, and remove the cover. Then, power
the drive to make menu and dip switch changes. When changes are complete, power off the drive before
replacing the cover.
Basic Setup (DIP SW1 — Position 1)
Use DIP SW1 Position 1 to choose whether the drive will be programmed with the other DIP switches or
the mobile app.
NOTE: The menu-based settings can be changed regardless of the position of this switch.
Switch to the O O F F F F (down) position to have the DIP switch settings recognized.

When in this position, the values in the mobile app will be ignored.
Switch to the O O N N (up) position to program the drive using the mobile app.

Motor Phase Selection (DIP SW1 — Position 2)
When using a SubDrive Connect model with a three-phase submersible motor, ensure that DIP SW1 Posi-
tion 2 is in the O O F F F F (down) position (identified as "SD" on the legend).
To use a single-phase motor with a SubDrive Connect, set the switch in the O O N N (up) position (identified
as "MD" on the legend).
SubDrive Connect models used in surface pump applications can only operate three-phase 230 VAC mo-
tors. Ensure that DIP SW1 Position 2 is in the O O F F F F (down) position (identified as "SD" on the legend).
