Filling the water tank
ATTENTION!
•
Before adding water to/emptying the water tank, always disconnect the mains plug.
In the process, never pull on the cable, but always on the plug.
•
Use tap water. Distilled water may affect the proper functioning of the built-in water
scale fi lter.
•
Never fi ll the water tank with additives. They may irreparably damage the device and
as such, the safe operation of the device can no longer be assured.
•
Never exceed the maximum fi ll level (observe the max mark on the water tank!).
The water tank must be fi lled for steam ironing. You can omit this step if you just intend
to dry iron.
1. Make sure that the device is not connected to the mains supply. Set the dial (3) to
the STANDBY position:
2. Remove the water tank (9): Push the release button (8) under the water tank and pull
the tank out.
3. Open the water tank cap (13) and fi ll the tank with tap water up to the max mark. It
holds approx. 2000 ml.
4. Securely close the water tank cap.
5. Push the water tank back into the holder station. It must audibly lock into place.
You can also fi ll the water tank while it is in the holder station. Use the measuring
