Diverse fastening parts
Should a part be missing, please contact your professional dealership.
The guide tubes can be fixed on the mower when the equipment is still inside the carton.
–
Place the top part of guide tube on the cover plate across on the carton, see figure Z3 .
–
Remove collecting bag.
–
Cut through the fastening throttle cables.
–
Cut open the carton on the side where the ejection flap is located.
Ensure that the throttle cables are not kinked during the assembly and later operation O4 !
Assembling the handlebar lower section (Illustration C1 )
–
Push the lower part of the guide tube (located inside the bottom cushion) on the projecting bolt, and swivel it far behind
until the hole on the tube end covers one of the two holes in the handlebar connection.
Turn the bar bottom in such a way that the recess in drilled holes for mounting the bar top points upwards.

Insert the two hexagon bolts M8x16 (1) (from the tool bag) with fitted safety edge washers (2) from outside through the
handlebar and tube connection and tighten it up.
Two different tube handlebar heights can be set.

On the two top bolts, for the first push over, a curved washer (3), then a spacing bush (4) respectively and screw them
with a safety hexagon nut (5).
CAUTION
During adjustment of the bar height, the bar may fold over unintentionally during loosening of the hexagon nuts (5)
C1 (only loosen them to such an extent that the bar can move freely) and the attachment screws (1) C1 between
the base of the bar and the bar connection point. In addition, beware of potential squashing spots between the base
of the bar and the bar connection point/housing. This may result in risk of injury!
Assembling the handlebar upper section (Illustration E1 + O4 )
–
Stick the bolts pre-assembled in the vibration dampers (1) of the top handlebar bar, from top through the holes in the
lower bar.

From the bottom put a reinforcement lining (2) in place and screw with a hexagon nut (3) each.
IMPORTANT
Make sure the throttle cables are not kinked when fitting the top part of the guide handlebar.
Fasten the throttle cables with the help of cable ties from the tool bag on the top and bottom bar O4.
Model with blade brake: On the right side, where the control housing of blade brake with throttle cable is located,
the cable ties must not be tightened too firmly, so that the smoothness of brake actuation is guaranteed.
Assembling the protection frame (Illustration K4 )
–
Lift the protection frame (1) and remove the collection bag frame.
–
Stick the two countersink screws (M6x90) (2) (from the tool bag) from top through the protection frame and bearing.
–
From bottom first, stick a rubber damper element (3) on each washer (4) and screw them together with a hexagon cap
nut (5).
–
On the other end of the protection frame, tighten the pre-assembled nuts.
Handle starter assembly
Model with engine brake (Illustration D + L1 )
–
To hook in the starter cable, the safety switching bracket (1) on the bar top (2) must first have been folded down.
–
Pull out the starter cable (3) and hook it into the starter handle mount (4) using a turning motion.
–
Once the starter cable has been hooked in, turn the starter handle clockwise to the AVS housing, as far as the stop.
This prevents the starter cable from popping out.
Model with blade brake (Illustration G3 + L1 )
Move the operating lever to the STOP position G3 .

Pull out the starter cable (1) slowly and fit in the starter handle mount (2) with a twist motion L1 .

Once the starter cable has been hooked in, turn the starter handle clockwise to the AVS housing, as far as the stop.
This prevents the starter cable from popping out.
Attaching the grass collector to the mower (Illustration R1 + S1 )
–
First insert the grass bag frame with the clip forward into the grass bag. Please make sure that the protective corners of
the collection material cover the back corners of the collecting bag frame. Align the upper seams of the bag with the clip.
Press the retaining profiles of the collecting sack onto the bars of the collecting sack frame R1 .

Open the ejection flap of the mower upwards.
