TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE INTERVENTIONS
According to Legislative Decree 81/08 and/or applicable European directives, if the technical assistance interventions are
not performed in the manner described in this manual, the manufacturer is not responsible for maintaining the
certifications relating to the device, for the CE marking or for the conformity of this device with current law.
The manufacturer stresses that all technical assistance interventions must only be performed by personnel in possession
of a valid "Authorised Castellini Technician" license (Also see general preface of this manual).
Technical personnel, as specified above, cannot connect Castellini products to other medical devices and accessories that
are not approved by Castellini or to those that do not comply with compatibility specifications as indicated by Castellini
S.p.A. Further, such personnel cannot perform unauthorised modifications, arbitrarily tamper or carry out maintenance
procedures which are not in compliance with the instructions provided by Castellini. The use of spare parts and
components that are not original and not manufactured by Castellini is prohibited.
Technical assistance procedures carried out in a manner different than that described above constitute use that is not in
conformity with the instructions provided by the manufacturer and as a result compromises the safety requirements
established in Directive 93/42/EEC – and subsequent amendments made – (ECC Directive 2007/47), with the consequent
forfeiture of the CE marking listed on the device as well as all terms of warranty (see point A, letter 2 of the Conditions
of Warranty) and, if applicable, the powers of responsibility established by Directive 1999/374/EC.

Original Castellini parts and components are only available at Castellini S.p.A headquarters or at authorised Castellini
Technical Assistance Centres.
At the time of each maintenance intervention, the customer has the right to request the technician to produce his
"Authorised Castellini Technician" license. The license must resemble the image below.
