Warning
When using the R20-L adaptor for implant work, pay careful attention not to work when the tank is empty
in order to avoid the emission of air from the handpiece's external spray tube.
Cool down operating field during use when necessary.
If the air coolant flow is interrupted, immediately switch-off the handpiece.
Do not connect or disconnect the handpiece from the micromotor until the micromotor has come to a
complete stop.
Only operate the handpiece when the milling cutter is inserted.
Do not use milling cutters with dimensions different than those indicated.
Do not use worn or damaged milling cutters. Handle milling cutters with caution, wearing protective
gloves.
Only use milling cutters (or other similar instruments with) that have a CE marking of conformity with
Directive 93/42/EEC.
Before each use, check that the milling cutter is correctly locked.
Do not exceed the speed recommended by the milling cutter's manufacturer.
The milling cutter's lock button overheats if pushed during handpiece operation.
Take care not to accidently press it against the patient's oral cavity.
Do not use the instrument in the event of visible damage, the emission of unusual noises or vibrations,
abnormal overheating of if the milling cutter is not held firmly in place: Immediately stop use and
contact the technical assistance staff.
When using this instrument it is recommended that a dental dam be used on the patient.

HANDPIECE/MICROMOTOR CONNECTION/DISCONNECT
Handpieces without optical fibres
Insert handpiece and push it down until you hear a "click" Gently pull to detach it.
Handpieces with optical fibres
Engage handpiece, align the jutting handpiece base with the corresponding position on
the micromotor and push down until a "click" is heard. To detach handpiece, pull it
axially.
Do not connect or disconnect the handpiece from the micromotor until the
micromotor is comes to a complete stop.
MILLING CUTTER INSERTION/REMOVAL
Straight handpiece
To remove the milling cutter, rotate it in the direction of the arrow (Fig. 2 - A) until the
ring clicks (1). Insert the new milling cutter and bring the ring back to a closed
position with the two reference points aligned - (Fig. 2 - B).
Do not operate the motor if the ring is in the open position (reference points not
aligned).
