Maintenance and sanitisation of the Dentist unit must be done using products (including lubricants) approved by
Castellini. All other products not specifically mentioned in this manual and in the
Sanitisation Protocol"
are to be excluded from use.
The manufacturer warns that failure to respect the above-stated prescriptions will be considered as a failure on the part
of the user to comply with the instructions provided by the manufacturer and therefore not in accordance with the
essential safety requisites set out in Directive 93/42/EEC and subsequent amendments made – (ECC Directive 2007/47).
This failure will result in the unit's CE marking being void.
 TURBINE lubrication with
 MICROMOTOR HANDPIECE lubrication according to
manufacturer handpiece instructions;
 AIR-DRIVEN MICROMOTOR lubrication with
 Suction system FILTER CAP with
Ring
DAILY
 GENERAL AIR FILTER condensation drain
Note: always lubricate the turbine, micromotor handpiece
and air-driven micromotor before the sterilisation cycles in
the autoclave.
Lubricate with
 TURBINE O-Ring quick coupling (if present);
 ELECTRICAL MICROMOTOR HANDPIECE O-Ring coupling;
WEEKLY  Internal SYRINGE body couplings.
Lubricate the red silicone washers inside the CANNULA
SUCTION COUPLING.
MONTHLY  Check chair anti-crush safety systems
 Replace GENERAL AIR FILTER;
ANNUALE  Replace the bottles sterilisable in autoclave at least once per year
 Contact technical assistance service for scheduled maintenance interventions
