Integration into computer networks using an SNMP
adapter.
Large LAN and WAN-based computer systems that integrate
servers on different operating systems must provide the
system administrator with ease of control and management.
This is achieved through an SNMP adapter, which is universally
supported by the main software and hardware manufacturers.
The connection of the UPS to the SNMP is internal, while the
connection of the SNMP to the computer network is via an
RJ45 10BASE-T connector.
Modbus RS485.
Large LAN and WAN-based computer systems often require
that communication with any element that is integrated into
the computer network be carried out via a standard industry
protocol.
One of the most widely used standard industry protocols on
the market is the MODBUS protocol.
Relay interface.
The UPS has, as an option, an interface to relays card
ˆ
that provides digital signals in the form of potential-free
contacts, with a maximum applicable voltage and current
of 240 V AC or 30 V DC and 1 A.
This communication port allows dialogue between the
ˆ
device and other machines or devices through the relays
supplied in the terminal block arranged on the same card,
with a single common terminal for all of them.
From the factory, all contacts are normally open and can
ˆ
be changed one by one, as indicated in the information
supplied with the optional extra.
The most common use of these types of ports is to provide
ˆ
necessary information to file closing software.
For more information, please contact our technical service

or our nearest distributor.
Installation.
Remove the protective cover from the unit slot.
Take the corresponding U.E. and insert it into the reserved slot.
Make sure that it is properly connected. To do so, you must
overcome the opposing resistance in the connector located in
the slot.
Make the necessary connections on the strip or connectors
available as applicable.
Place the new protective cover supplied with the interface to
relays card and fix it using the same screws that previously
fixed the original cover.
5.3.4.7. IoT.
See the NIMBUS Cloud (EL284*50) manual.
See the NIMBUS card manual (EL139*00).
5.3.4.8. WiFi connection (optional)
The WLAN Dongle module ( ) (wireless) is optional, please contact
the distributor for more details.
