8. Malfunctions - Causes and elimination

Read the following troubleshooting instructions before contacting service personnel.

1. Replace batteries
2. Use another mains socket

1. Remove all objects / infant from
the weighing tray
2. Arrange weighing tray correctly
3. Remove the infant from the scale,
set the scale to zero and weigh
again
4. Place the scale on a stable surface
and repeat the weighing procedure
5. Check weight with object of known
weight
Remove excessive weight and obser-
ve maximum load values.
Check that the weighing tray is on
the base.
Recharge the battery according to
the instructions.
