6. Basic functions

6.2 Switching on the scale

With the scale unloaded, press the ON/OFF button. The display shows „Start" and
then the test routine. After this is completed, the display shows „00.0".
The scale is ready for weighing.

6.3 Weighing

WARNING!
Serious injury to the baby due to a fall.
Baby scales are often placed on raised work surfaces. If the baby falls off the work
surface, it can cause serious or fatal injuries. Never leave a baby unattended on the
scales.
Carefully place the baby on the scale.
The weight appears automatically after the scale is loaded.

6.4 Taring

Manuelles Tarieren
Place the additional weight (e.g. a towel or blanket) on the weighing platform and
then press the tare button. 00.0" and NET (net) appear in the display.
Manual tare input
With the manual tare input you can enter a fixed tare value manually.
With the scale unloaded, press the tare button. The TARE default value (150g) is
displayed and the zero flashes.
Set the value with the arrow keys UP and DOWN or, right and left.
Confirm the entered value with the Enter key. NET (net) is now shown in the dis-
play instead of GROSS (gross).
Delete tare
To delete the tare value, press the ZERO key.
