General safety notes
During installation, operation, maintenance or repair of the pump, the
regulations for the prevention of accidents, the pertinent standards and
directives, as well as the directives of the local power supply industry must be
heeded.
WARNING!
This pump contains electric charges and controls
rotating mechanical system components. Non-compliance with
the operating instructions may result in considerable damage to
property, personal injuries or even fatal accidents.
IEC 60364 applies for all electrical work on the pump.
The pump must be safely disconnected from the mains before any
work is carried out on it. If only fuses are available, these must be
switched off and secured by a sign so that third parties cannot
switch the main fuse back on again.
The pump must be supplied through a residual-current-operated
protected device (RCD) with residual current of not more than
30mA. It must be ensured that the electric cables as well as all other
electrical pump components are in a faultless condition. In case of
damage, the pump may on no account be put into operation or must
be stopped immediately. Route electrical cables in such a way that
they do not become kinked and are strain-relieved. Only use mains
cables with the prescribed cable cross-section.
