Remote control functions
a) Control settings
Upon delivery, the transmitter of your helicopter is set to mode 2. However, you can adapt the transmitter to your
individual control habits. The following control modes are available:
Mode 1: The nod and yaw functions are controlled with the left control module, the roll and pitch functions with the
right control module. For this mode, both control modules have to be swapped from neutralising to non-neutralising.
See the instructions of your remote control.
Mode 2 (default configuration): The pitch and yaw functions are controlled by the left control module, the roll and
nod functions with the right control module.
Mode 3: The nod and roll functions are controlled with the left control module, the yaw and pitch functions with the
right control module. For this mode, both control modules have to be swapped from neutralising to non-neutralising.
See the instructions of your remote control.
Mode 4: The roll and pitch functions are controlled by the left control module, the yaw and nod functions by the right
control module.
Switching from mode 2 to another mode has no influence on the programmed model memory. All mixers
and setup values are taken over 1:1 and are simply assigned to the new control modules.
b) Programmable functions of the different flight modes
Caution!
The remote control is already adjusted and preset for the first test flights with your model helicopter. The
following description of possible programming steps and adjustments is merely intended to help you per-
form a check before the first flight and make adjustments to your personal control habits after the first flight.
We clearly advise you against changing any settings before the first flight. Please see the operating
instructions of your remote control for information on how to properly modify the settings.
Some setup values – e.g. the control/correction of the pitch values – must not be performed in ready-to-fly state, as the
engine would start up inevitably when the pitch function is used on the transmitter. There is immediate danger of
material damage or personal injury!
To safely perform these settings without unnecessary programming, we recommend detaching the three motor/speed
controller plug connections. To do so, you should code the respective contacting pairs with different colours beforehand
to relocate them after performing a control/correction and thus achieve the correct rotation direction of the engine.
In order to change settings on the transmitter, it has to be in programming mode. See the operating
instructions of your remote control for more information.
All settings, mixers and functions are only performed correctly if the control elements (servos, gyro, etc.) are plugged
into the receiver in a certain order. See the operating instructions of your remote control for more information.
