Operating the model helicopter
a) Checking the screw connections
After transporting and before operating the model, make sure that all screw connections are tight. Shocks or vibration
during transport or operation might cause the screw connections to become loose. Therefore, as is the case with a real
helicopter, you must always perform a thorough pre-flight-check.
b) Checking the moving parts
Before operating the model, check if all moving parts and bearings run smoothly. However, there should not be any
play. The swash plate (1), the pitch compensator (2) and the control sleeve of the tail rotor (3) should be oiled regularly
so that they run smoothly.
Only use oil that does not resinify. Special oil for flight models or sewing machine oil can be used.

c) Installing the main rotor blades
Screw on the provided rotor blades to the rotor head at the designated positions.
Caution!
When fastening the rotor blade screws, do not screw them too tight. Make sure that the blades can still
align themselves due to the centrifugal force.
