4. Commissioning the remote control
Before you start building the model, you should first start the remote control. This is the only way to later make the settings required. But first read
ever individual section before performing the operations required. For better understanding, an illustration has been included which represents the
section of assembly described. Only carry out the works in the sections concerned when you have understood the execution correctly and know
exactly to what you have pay attention for the work.
Open the battery compartment of the remote control by pushing the rear cover of the remote control
down. Now insert the 8 batteries or rechargeable batteris of the Mignon type (type AA, x 1.5 volt) into the battery compartment. Ensure the correct
polarity of the cells. A corresponding indication is located at the bottom of the battery compartment. Slide the cover of the battery compartment back
on and let it snap into place. When the rechargeable batteries have been recharged or new batteries have been inserted, pull out the antenna of the
transmitter all the way and, turn on the transmitter with the on/off switch for test purposes. The green and the red light emitting diodes indicate suf-
ficient power supply of the transmitter. If the power supply is not sufficient for correct operation of the transmitter (below 9.5 V), the green LED goes
off. In this case, you must immediately recharge your model and insert new batteries or recharge the batteries in the transmitter. With the left con-
trol stick the engine, with the right control stick the side rudder is controlled.
The charging procedure is set out in the „Charging procedure" section, as the models first have to be assembled.
5. Assembly
Read the following items before assembly and check in advance without using the sticker the individual steps of assembly.
Wrong, improper assembly as well as resulting damage to the aeroplane model and their parts are not included in the guar-
antee.
