b) Checking and setting the auxiliary paddles
Check whether the two paddles of the auxiliary rotor (1) have
the same distance to the paddle bridge (2) and are absolutely
parallel to each other. In addition, both paddles must also
be exactly parallel to the paddle bridge (2).
Figure 7 is a schematic of the main rotor. It is
not completely identical with your helicopter.
Points A and B are intended for clarification. They
show the pitch control rods.
c) Checking and setting the pitch values
First, check the correct installation of the servo arms on the swash plate servos. If the pitch control stick is in centre
position, the servo arms must be at a 90° angle to the linkage rods.
Then the pitch value of the main rotor blades should be 5° - 6°. You must use a suitable pitch adjuster gauge to
measure the pitch value.
The following combinations have proved to be the ideal starting point for setting your personal values for the different
flight modes.
