Operation
4.3
Changing the gas cylinder
Use the included screw aid to attach and remove the high-pressure
hose The screw aid helps you generate the necessary tightening
torque and prevents damage to the union that may otherwise result
from using an improper tool
WARNING
Risk of fire and explosion hazard due to residual gases
Residual gases may escape and form a flammable gas mix-
ture with the air when the cylinder is changed
Do not use any naked flames or open fire
Do not smoke
4.3.1
Gas cylinder with cylinder valve
Close the cylinder valve of the empty gas cylinder
Unscrew the high-pressure hose from the cylinder valve with the
screw aid
Replace the gas cylinder
Screw the high-pressure hose onto the cylinder valve of the full
gas cylinder with the screw aid
If a gas filter is present, change the filter pad (see the operating
instructions for the gas filter)
Open the cylinder valve of the full gas cylinder
If available, press the hose rupture protection on the high-pres-
sure hose
If necessary, press the black reset button on the gas pressure
regulator and gently turn in an anti-clockwise direction
After any intervention, check the hose connection on the cylinder
valve for leaks (see the "Checking for leaks in the high-pressure
section" chapter)
During a cylinder change, ensure that the high-pressure hose
from the inlet connection of the gas pressure regulator is always
at a constant gradient to the gas cylinder (Fig 7)
