FITTING INSTRUCTIONS


To fit R&G tail tidy, remove the pillion seat using the key.

From the underside of the rider seat, remove the bolts arrowed in Picture 1 using an 8mm,
a 10mm socket and a wrench. Remove the rider seat.

From the LHS, remove screw A in picture 2 using a phillip screwdriver and bolt B in
picture 2 using 5mm allen key. Remove the LHS panel by sliding it off backwards.
Repeat the procedure for RHS panel.

From the lower underside, remove the four push-in pins arrowed in Picture 3. Push the
centre of the pin in then slides the whole pin unit out.

From the upper underside, remove the push-in pin arrowed in Picture 4. Unscrew the
centre of the pin using a phillips screwdriver then pull the whole pin unit out. Repeat the
procedure for the other push-in pin on the opposite side.

From the upperside, remove the screws that secure the centre rear panel (arrowed in
Picture 5) using a phillips screwdriver. Remove the panel by sliding it off backwards.

From the upperside, as arrowed in Picture 6 remove two bolts A using a 10mm socket and
a wrench. Remove four screws B using a phillips screwdriver and four bolts C using 6mm
Allen key.

Remove the bolt that secures the seat strap on either side (arrowed in Picture 7) using a
10mm socket and a wrench.

From the LHS rear panel, gently remove the panel by unclipping it from the undertray
and the centre seat panel. Once unclipped gently slide the panel backwards for full
removal as shown in Picture 8. Repeat the procedure for the RHS rear panel.

Remove the four bolts that secure the OEM licence plate bracket to the subframe
(Arrowed in picture 9) using an 8mm socket and a wrench. Please note to keep the
undertray fully supported during bolts removal.

Lower down the undertray to rest on the back wheel, disconnect the OEM licence plate
illuminator and indicator connectors from the main loom. Unclip the wires from the
undertray.

Remove bolt A using an 8mm socket and a wrench in Picture 10. Remove screw B using
a phillips screwdriver in picture 10. Please keep the OEM licence plate bracket supported
during this procedure. Remove the OEM licence plate bracket from the undertray.
