Rockwell (Allen Bradley) RIO Connections

Connections to the Remote IO option are made using a three-pin terminal
connector on the RIO option. The connection should be wired as shown in Figure
2-75.

The part number for the Remote IO cable is Belden 9463. It is sometimes referred
to as "Blue Hose" cable.
Figure 2-76 shows the RIO PLC interface module, with its connector at upper right.

PCB Switch Settings

PCB switch settings are described in this section, including settings for main PCB
switches and the discrete I/O (relay) switch.

Main PCB Switches

There are two switches located on the main PCB, in the positions indicated in
Figure 2-77. Functions of the switches are listed in Table 2-8.
