• After making the wiring connections as described in the next section, check that
the nut on the cable gland is tightened properly to seal around the cable.
Ensure that this seal is watertight.

Main Board Wiring Connections

The following connections are made to the IND780 main board:

The harsh enclosure must be opened to make the connections, as shown in Figure
2-27. The rear cover of the panel mount enclosure (Figure 2-28) needs to be
removed in order to make these connections. Note that the option board sockets
shown at the top of these figures represent the locations where option cards
(Discrete I/O, Serial Communications, IDNet, Analog Load Cell, POWERCELL and
PDX Interfaces) would be installed. These may not be present in your unit.
