3.2 TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT AND MEASUREMENT

The temperature probe (platinum resistance, 100Ω at 0°C) is connected to the
lockable 5-pin plug.
It is used to measure the temperature.
It compensates for the variation of electrode response in pH measurements.
It corrects the conductivity (the conductivity values are referred to 25°C)
For accurate measurements, it is therefore essential to calibrate this parameter
first.
On the MPC 350, the temperature correction can be applied manually or
automatically.
