First ensure that the transmitter is not in operation.
Connect up the instrument between the transmitter output and the antenna or the 50 Ω load.
Put the function switch on the "Battery test" position, press on the Measurement push button and
check the battery charge status on the galvanometer. If the charge is alright, the finger should be in
the range indicated on the galvanometer. Otherwise, to change the batteries, refer to § 5.1 Replacement
of batteries.

n Put the function switch on "Incident power".
n If you do not know the power, first position the switch
n Turn on the transmitter
n Press on the Measurement button
n Select the most appropriate setting to read off the measurement.

on the 100 W setting (the highest setting).

The instrument is only set in operation when the Measure button is pressed. This arrangement allows
for a comfortable operating autonomy.
Operation is stopped automatically, 5 to 10 minutes after initiation.
Should measurement not be complete, press on the Measurement button once more.
