3. APPLICATION PROGRAMS AND FUNCTIONS

The various application programs in Soehnle Professional standard compact scales provide a wide
range of solutions for your weighing tasks.
You can adapt the application programs to your particular needs in Setting mode (see separate
description 470.702.099 User mode 3710).
The following application programs or functions are available:

3.1 Weighing and taring
Weighing
When switched on, the equipment starts in weighing mode.
Place the item to be weighed and read off the weight.
Weighing with tare
For operation and function, see Paragraph 2.5.
When the Tare function is active, the letter "N" appears on the display.
3.2 Counting
The smallest reference piece weight is a minimum 10% of the smallest scale division
on the scales.
To program the Function key, "Counting" must be selected in Setting mode! For
Function key settings, see Paragraph 1.13 or User mode 3710 (see separate
description 470.702.099)
The Count function is activated by pressing the Function key.
The display message "Add XXX" (where XXX=number of reference pieces) prompts
you to add one or more reference pieces.
The Function key can be pressed repeatedly to change the reference quantity in
steps of 1/2/5/10/25/100.
Add reference pieces and confirm with the Print button.
Then place a number of pieces and read off the piece count.
Press the ON/Off button to return to weighing mode.
