Functions:
ON/TARE (OFF): Press this button to turn on the balance. During the weighing process, press the key
again to clear the zero point and reset the balance to zero. In the „0.000" state, press this key for 3
seconds and the balance will turn off.
HOLD: After stable weighing (0 in the upper left corner of the display), the current weight is automatically
locked. After locking, adding or reducing the weight by more than 800 g, the hold function is enabled, the
weight changes and displays the new weight.
UNITS: Select key for weight unit, press this key to select kilogram or pound. The last unit will be saved
when the power is turned off.
MEM: When „0.000" is displayed, press the RECALL key to retrieve the last weight. The „MEM" symbol and
the weight data appear in the lower right corner of the display. Press ON/TARE to display the determined
weight. Press the RECALL button again to return to the weighing mode.
The minimum load for this is > 1.0 kg.
Operation: Insert batteries. Press „ON/TARE" to turn on the balance. The balance will display 0.000 after
the self check.
Weight measurement: Carefully place the baby on the scale. As soon as the scale is stable, the „0" sign is
displayed. After the baby has been lifted off the scale, the weight value automatically returns to zero.
The scale automatically turns off after weighing if it is not used again within 1 minute.
When „0.000" is displayed, press the „MEM" key to display the weight of the last weight stored.
Notes:
1. Keep the balance clean to ensure normal use.
2. The scale should be placed on a flat, hard surface and not on a carpet.
Failure to do so will compromise accuracy.
3. Do not overload the scale (weigh more than 23 kg) as this may damage the scale.
4. Replace the batteries immediately when „Lo" appears.
If you will not be using the scale for a long period of time, remove the batteries to prevent possible
damage from leaking battery fluid.
5. When you disconnect the mains adapter from the power source or replace the batteries, the scale
automatically resets to the lbs weighing unit. It is therefore necessary to set the scale to kg again. To do
this, simply press the „Units" key. The weight value will then appear in kg again. This procedure is not
necessary if the scale is only switched off!
