e) Inserting the Flight Battery
Fold the battery compartment lid (1) open downwards and
push the charged flight battery (2) into the helicopter's bat-
tery compartment slanted from below according to the fig-
ure.
The battery cable (3) should be on the right side of the model
when viewed from below in flight direction.
Push the battery forwards to the stop then and fold the bat-
tery compartment lid closed again upwards. When the bat-
tery is installed correctly, the 3-pin charging cable of the
battery (5) will also fit in the battery compartment.
Make sure that the two closing pegs (4) of the battery com-
partment lock in place properly.
f) Checking the Model's Centre of Gravity
Align the rotor blades (1) at a 180° angle to each other and
turn the rotor head so that the centrifugal weight (2) is at a
90° angle to the flight direction.
Now carefully lift up the model with two fingers at the cen-
trifugal weight. The helicopter's fuselage has to be aligned
horizontally now and must not tilt to the front or rear.
If the battery is pushed all the way to the front, the centre of
gravity should be perfectly correct. If required, the centre of
gravity can be changed by changing the battery position or
by attaching a small weight in the fuselage tip.
