b) Charging Rechargeable Batteries in the Transmitter
On the right hand side of the transmitter (as seen from be-
hind) underneath a fold-out rubber cover (see figure 2, item
17) there is an inbuilt charging socket. When operating with
rechargeable batteries you can connect a charging cable
(1) to this socket and charge the rechargeable batteries in
the transmitter with a suitable charger.
Always make sure the polarity of the connecting plug is cor-
rect. The inner contact of the charging socket must be con-
nected to the plus terminal (+) and the outer contact to the
minus terminal (-) of the charger.
The charging current should be approx. 1/10 of the capacity
value of the inserted rechargeable batteries. For recharge-
able batteries with a capacity of 2000 mAh this corresponds
to a charging current of approx. 200 mA and charging time
takes approx. 14 h.
Attention!
Connect the charger only if rechargeable batteries (1.2V/cell) have been inserted in the transmitter. Never
try to recharge normal batteries (1.5V/cell) with a charger.
The included mains adapter is not suited for charging of the transmitter rechargeable battery!
In order to avoid damage to the internal conductor paths and connections, please do not use any quick
chargers. The max. charging current should not exceed 500 mA.
