a) Changing the Control Stick Assignment
The four control functions of the helicopter are controlled using the two control sticks at the transmitter. The transmitter
offers the possibility of individually distributing the different steering functions to the control sticks. The respective stick
assignment is called mode 1, 2, 3 or 4; the transmitter is set to mode 2 ex works.
Overview of available stick assignments (modes):
Mode 1:
Right control stick forward and backward: Pitch function (THRO)
Right control stick left and right: Roll function (AILE)
Left control stick forward and backward: Nod function (ELEV)
Left control stick left and right: Tail function (RUDD)
Mode 2 (Factory Settings):
Right control stick forward and backward: Nod function (ELEV)
Right control stick left and right: Roll function (AILE)
Left control stick forward and backward: Pitch function (THRO)
Left control stick left and right: Tail function (RUDD)
Mode 3:
Right control stick forward and backward: Pitch function (THRO)
Right control stick left and right: Tail function (RUDD)
Left control stick forward and backward: Nod function (ELEV)
Left control stick left and right: Roll function (AILE)
Mode 4:
