j) Setting the Control Stick Length
You can adjust the length of the control sticks, depending
on your steering habits.
To do so simply hold the bottom part of the grip (1) and turn
the upper part (2) anti-clockwise. You can now set the length
of the control stick by turning the bottom part of the grip.
Finally, tighten the upper part of the grip back up.
k) Practical Flight Advice for the First Start
• Even if the model can fly in the narrowest spaces, for the first test flights, we recommend using a free space of about
3 x 3 m.
• The ground or floor should be smooth (tiles, woodblock flooring, PCV or similar) to allow you to tell just before the
helicopter lifts off whether it wants to drift in a particular direction.
• Place yourself exactly behind your helicopter. As long as you can see your model from behind, it will react to the
control commands: right, left, forward, backward exactly as you control it. If the fuselage tip of the model points
towards you, it reacts exactly the opposite way from your steering commands at the transmitter.
Attention!
If you notice after a few minutes that the motor power of the helicopter is decreasing, then stop operation
immediately; let the flight battery cool then charge it again. Avoid, in any case, a total discharge of the
helicopter battery!
• If after a few flights you develop a keen sense of your helicopter, you can carry out further optimizations.
l) Trimming the Helicopter
Push the pitch lever (see figure 1, Item 13) carefully forward and observe the response of your model. Shortly before
the helicopter starts hovering, you can already determine in which direction your model wants to move.
If the helicopter wants to turn to the right with the tip of the fuselage (see figure 19), reduce the speed and push the trim
button for the tail function (see figure 1, item 12) gradually to the left.
Every activation of a button is confirmed by a short audio signal. The percentage shown in the right half of
the display also changes, and the bar display for the tail trimming slowly moves to the left or the right.
When resetting, the centre trimming position (50%) is indicated with a deeper humming sound.
