6.18 Enable an external
illuminator from the day/night
camera output
The camera could be equipped with a day/night
dry contact output that can be used to enable an
external illuminator.
Pull out the removable terminal (J4, CPU board).
Connect the camera's day/night output.

Due to the absence of polarity, both terminals of the
same relay can be connected either to alternating or
direct current voltages.
Feed the control cables through the input device.
Activation takes place via the closure of the dry
contact of a relay.

Pull out the removable terminal (J5, CPU board).
Connect the control cables.
Reinsert the wired terminal in the connector. Gather
the cables with a cable tie.

Use suitable cable sections: from 0.2mm²
(30AWG) up to 1mm² (16AWG).
