6.16 Enabling the wiper
6.16.1 Enable from the remote button
The wiper can be operated remotely using an NO
(normally open) dry contact. The command has a
range of about 200m (656ft) and can be achieved
with an unshielded cable with a 0.25mm² minimum
section (24AWG).

Feed the control cables through the input device.
Pull out the removable terminal (J6, CPU board).
Connect the control cables.
Reinsert the wired terminal in the connector. Gather
the cables with a cable tie.
All signal cables must be grouped together
by means of a cable tie.

Before closing the housing, connect
connectors J3 and J8 of the wiper.

6.16.2 Enable from the keyboard
If the serial communication line is being used, the
wiper can be enabled from the keyboard (6.15 Serial
line connection, page 28).
6.17 Enabling the washer
(Washer)
Relay operating specifications.
• Working voltage: 30Vac max or 60Vdc
max.
• Current: 1A max.
Use suitable cable sections: from 0.2mm²
(30AWG) up to 1mm² (16AWG).
All signal cables must be grouped together
by means of a cable tie.
If the serial communication line is being used, the
washer can be enabled from the keyboard (6.15
Serial line connection, page 28).
Activation takes place via the closure of the dry
contact of a relay.
Due to the absence of polarity, both terminals of the
same relay can be connected either to alternating or
direct current voltages.
Feed the control cables through the input device.
Pull out the removable terminal (J11, CPU board).
Connect the control cables.
Reinsert the wired terminal in the connector. Gather
the cables with a cable tie.
