6.15 Serial line connection
CAUTION! TNV-1 installation type. The
installation is type TNV-1, do not connect it
to SELV circuits.
CAUTION! In order to reduce the risk of
fire, only use cables with sections greater
than or equal to 0.14mm² (26AWG).
The product includes a one-directional
communication serial line RS-485 that is internally
terminated. The line works with PELCO D (2400baud,
9600baud) or VIDEOTEC MACRO protocol
(9600baud, 38400baud), length 1200m max.

The line can be configured using the board's DIP1
selector dip-switch.

Feed the serial line cables through the input device.
Connect the control cables to the removable
terminal (J12, CPU board). Connect the cables as
described in the table.

Reinsert the wired terminal in the connector. Gather
