Inserting batter y
The battery must be inserted prior to the installation of the electronic knob
cylinder C100 V3. The battery compartment is located in the respective electronic
part of the electronic knob cylinder C100 V3.

Insert the battery (type CR2) as shown in Pic. 12, page 104.
Installing the double cylinder

Familiarise yourself with the components and the accompanying tool.

Install the electronic knob cylinder C100 V3 as shown in Pic. 5, page 98 to
Pic. 6, page 99.
The electronic knob cylinder C100 V3 is completely installed and can now be
tested for compete functionality.
Installing the half-cylinder

Familiarise yourself with the components and the accompanying tool.

Install the electronic knob cylinder C100 V3 (half-cylinder) as shown
in Pic. 7, page 100 to Pic. 11, page 103 and following.
The electronic knob cylinder C100 V3 is completely installed and can now be
tested for compete functionality.
Testing the installed knob cylinder

Test all functions of the installed knob cylinder. In the process, observe the
following:
1.1 Make sure that locks or seals mounted on the complete door unit do not
impede the proper operation.
1.2 Protruding parts of the knob cylinder may not impede the free swinging
of the door.
The knob cylinder is completely installed and tested for compete
functionality.
Hub connection
Online connection via a hub is standard. The knob cylinder can be set to offline
mode by utilising the PAP tool.

Install the hub as shown in Pic. 13, page 105.

Connect the hub according to the layout plan.
The knob cylinder can be controlled online.
