Warning!
Diminished fire protection function may result in personal injury and prop-
erty damage: Fire doors prevent fire from spreading and are tested as a complete
unit with accessories:
· regulations established by inspection authorities must be complied with,
· Check whether the door certification matches the electronic knob cylinder
C100 V3.
· The door manufacturer must be consulted prior to replacement with a different
model or if a lock is to be retrofitted.
· The door manufacturer's specifications must be observed.
Attention!
Property damage caused by work on the door leaf: For work on the door leaf,
such as drilling or cutting, the electronic knob cylinder C100 V3 and the mortise
lock must be removed.
Improper handling during transport can cause material damage: The door leaf
may not be carried by the door knobs.
Do not open the reading device of the electronic cylinder: The reading device
of the electronic knob cylinder C100 V3 may only be opened for replacement of the
batteries with the accompanying special tool according to the described proce-
dure ("Inserting battery", page 58), otherwise it can be damaged. The warranty
is voided by incorrect opening ("Warranty", page 64).
