Description
The lock pocket is the recess in the door for the mounting plate of the
mortise lock.
The electronic knob cylinder C100 V3 is installed in the profile cylinder
cutout and screwed into place with the cylinder fixing screw. The
shape of the profile cylinder cutout may vary. In exceptional cases,
the half-cylinder must be removed from the knob in order to be
able to install the electronic knob cylinder C100 V3 ("Installing the half-
cylinder", page 58).
The ID media is normally a chip or a chip card, such as an RFID card.
The ID media is held against the electronic knob cylinder C100 V3 for
identification.
A hub is a network connection through which multiple devices are
connected to a data network.
