Combination Products and Accessories

Combination products and/or accessories can be found in the special KLS Martin brochure or in chapter 6.5
"Headlights, Accessories & Spare Parts", page 48.
4.2

Before Initial Use

Remove protective caps or protective covers if present.
The products can be incorporated in the usual processing routine. In order to do this, follow the
instructions from chapter 5 "Cleaning, Disinfection and Sterilization", page 44.
Before first use, switch off the headlight -Lever down rheostat- (④), insert rechargeable batteries (③) and
charge overnight (⑥).

Application

4.3.1

Headlight

Possible risk of injury due to glare!
The LED light source is extremely bright. Its glare effect can lead to temporary loss of visual acuity and
afterimages. Depending on the situation, this can be irritating or annoying, hamper the view or even lead
to accidents.
• Do not point the headlight directly into the eyes of others.
• Under no circumstances hold microscopes or other optical lenses in front of the headlight.
The aluminum bezel / light engine may get warm during use.
This is normal and not a malfunction. Avoid skin contact to these areas during these times.
