6 Maintenance

6.1

General Notices

The product may be repaired only by Gebrüder Martin or a qualified person or company expressly
authorized by Gebrüder Martin to perform such work.
Modification of the product may lead to unforeseen risks and is therefore not permitted.
Improper interventions or alterations performed by third parties during the period of limitation shall void
any and all warranty claims. Unauthorized actions performed on the product are never allowed and shall
void any claims of liability against Gebrüder Martin.
6.2

Regular Checks to Be Carried Out by the Operator

The product must be checked for proper functioning and operational safety prior to each use, including a
visual inspection for mechanical damage that might impair the function:
• Function according to section 4.3 "Application", page 38.
• Intactness of the batteries

The headlight itself is maintenance-free.
6.4

Format of the Serial Number

As a matter of principle, indicate the complete serial number in all cases of queries and complaints.
The serial number is indicated on the adjustment button of the headband (MedLED® Chrome):

The serial number is structured as follows:
MC Gebrüder Martin MedLED
150520 Date (YYMMDD)
700411 Consecutive number per year of manufacture *
* Each year of manufacture starts with "0001" again.
