If there is a smell of gas in
the environment, it is man-
datory to urgently imple-
ment the procedures described
below.
Before proceeding with the ope-
rations, see "General safety infor-
mation".
OBLIGATIONS - PROHIBITIONS -
ADVICE
Upon receipt, open the machine
packaging and ensure that the
machine and accessories have
not been damaged during transporta-
tion. Where this is found to be the
case, notify the carrier immediately
and do not proceed with installation
but contact the qualified and author-
ised personnel.
The manufacturer is not liable for
damage caused during transportation.
HANDLING SAFETY /
Failure to follow the instructions re-
ported below could result in expo-
sure to the risk of serious injury.
The operator authorised for the
handling and installation opera-
tions of the appliance must pre-
pare, if necessary, a "safety plan" in or-

Use a means of communication
that is external to the environ-
ment where there is a smell of
gas to warn the relevant enti-
ties (electricity operator and/or
fire-fighters).
