1. GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION

Warning:
The following safety instructions must be observed,
since damage and injury may otherwise result:
Please read these operating and installation in-
structions carefully before starting to install, op-
erate, maintain and repair the room ventilation
unit.
The installation, all repairs and all electrical
work must only be carried out by qualified expert
personnel.
When installing, commissioning and repairing
the room ventilation unit, observe all necessary
legal and national requirements (accident pre-
vention regulations and generally accepted
codes of practice) and comply with them.
When operating the room ventilation unit, all
covers must be closed.
When using an indoor air dependent and an in-
door air independent fireplace, consult the re-
sponsible district chimney sweep.
Retain these operating and installation instruc-
tions or leave it at the room ventilation unit, be-
cause it contains important operating informa-
tion, see page 25 and page 52.
Damages resulting from inappropriate storage
of the product, improper installation, handling,
and repair, insufficient maintenance or unin-
tended use are excluded from any liability.

2. GENERAL NOTES

2.1. INTENDED USE

The room ventilation units Avent P190/P310/P460 serve to
regulate the ventilation of living areas.
For this purpose, the outside air is led through the room
ventilation unit via the cross-counter-current heat
exchanger and is distributed in the respective rooms by
means of a distribution system.
Humid and used air is extracted and led out through the
room ventilation unit via the cross-counter-current heat
exchanger.

2.2. UNINTENDED USE

Any use of the room ventilation units Avent P190/P310/P460
other than that described in "Intended use" shall not be per-
missible.
Furthermore, the room ventilation units Avent P190/P310/
P460 must not be installed in rooms with temperatures
below 12 °C.
They should only be switched off for maintenance and repair
purposes or during the periods provided in the DIN standard
1946 part 6.
Do not disconnect the room ventilation units Avent P190/
P310/P460 from the power supply to stop the ventilators.
Condensate, if any, may cause damage to the device.
The room ventilation units Avent P190/P310/P460 are not
suited for building drying.

2.3. WARRANTY

In order to preserve your full statutory warranty claim, the
technical guidelines in these operating and installation
instructions must be observed.
You have the possibility to make use of the Pluggit manufac-
turer's warranty for 6 years.
