6.2. CLEANING/REPLACING FILTER
Thanks to the integrated filters, the supplied outside air and
exhaust air is cleaned of dirt particles and soiling of the unit
is avoided. If the room ventilation unit is operated without a
filter, the hygiene requirements are not met.
• Check the filters approx. every 12 months and replace
them depending on the degree of contamination.
• If the LED of the filter alarm lights orange, the filters
have to be replaced as well.
• Install filters which have at least filter quality G4.
• Depending on the pollution of the ambient air, filters
with filter quality F7 can be installed as an option.
Risk of injury:
Before replacing or cleaning the filters, disconnect
all poles of the room ventilation unit from the
power supply system, since injury may otherwise
result.

2. Pull old filters (2) out and clean them or insert new
filters in the direction of the arrow at the centre of the
casing.
3. If the filters are only cleaned, they must not be inter-
changed during installation.
Mark filter (2).
4. Reinsert filter (2) at the same side of the room ventila-
tion unit with the help of the marks.
Note:
When using a F7 class filter for the outside air, insert it
at the outside air side, see page 9. In doing so, consider
which air connector version (A or B) is used.
New filters can be obtained in the spcialised company.
5. Reset filter alarm, see page 39.
