1. GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION

Warning:
The following safety instructions must be observed,
since damage and injury may otherwise result:
Please read these installation instructions care-
fully before starting to install the preheating
register.
The installation and all electrical work must only
be carried out by qualified expert personnel.
When installing and commissioning the pre-
heating register, observe all necessary legal and
national requirements (accident prevention reg-
ulations and generally accepted codes of prac-
tice) and comply with them.
Damages resulting from inappropriate storage
of the product, improper installation or unin-
tended use are excluded from any liability.
Technical changes reserved.

2. GENERAL NOTES

2.1. INTENDED USE

The preheating register ensures continuous operation of
the room ventilation unit at cold outside temperatures. The
inflowing outside air is heated before entering the room
ventilation unit.
The preheating register is intended to be installed in the
room ventilation units Avent P190/P310/P460.

2.2. UNINTENDED USE

Any use of the preheating register other than that described
in "Intended use" shall not be permissible.

2.3. WARRANTY

In order to preserve your full statutory warranty claim, the
technical guidelines in these installation instructions must
be observed.

3. INSTALLATION

Note:
All following descriptions refer to the B version of the
room ventilation unit. The A version of the room ventila-
tion unit is to be installed analogously.
For further information, please refer to the operating
and installation instructions of the room ventilation unit.
Risk of injury:
Before installing the preheating register, discon-
nect all poles of the room ventilation unit from the
power supply system, since injury may otherwise
result.
