5.9. UPDATE DEVICE SOFTWARE

An update of the device software can be downloaded via the
USB interface at the control unit to the internal device
memory. At the next start of the room ventilation unit the
new device software is activated.
In order to be automatically informed of new updates, you
need to register at www.pluggit.com/service/Pluggit iFlow.
Save all settings on the laptop before the update.

1. Start laptop and save all settings before the update.
2. Locally save the new device software file with the file ex-
tension *.BIN.
3. Plug the USB cable with port type A in the laptop and
port type B in USB interface (1).
4. Open Windows file explorer and choose room ventilation
unit with own drive letter.
The drive contains at least one file named
BOOT_LOG.TXT.
5. Delete old device software version and transfer new de-
vice software version to the drive of the room ventilation
unit.
6. Deactivate USB cable using the "Safely remove hard-
ware" Windows function and subsequently remove it
from the USB interface (1).
7. Switch off the room ventilation unit for at least
30 seconds.
8. Switch on room ventilation unit again.
The new device software is activated.

Note:
If the LED (2) flashes, switch off room ventilation unit
again for at least 30 seconds and switch on again.
9. Readjust all settings at the room ventilation unit.
