6.1 - CLB201 CONTROL UNIT INSTALLATION
01. Choose the installation location in an area protected from possible
impacts and close to the gate in order to reduce the length of the
cables;
02. Remove the cover by prying with a screwdriver on the opening at the
bottom; slide it a few centimetres at a time and then lift it up from the
bottom(fig. 20);
03. Prepare the duct for electrical cable passage so that they can enter
from the lower part of the control unit;
04. Drill a hole in the bottom of the control unit and use suitable fitting to
affix the cable passage ducts, as shown in fig. 21;
05. Breach the two holes at the bottom with a screwdriver; mark the drill-
ing points using the bottom as reference (fig. 22);
06. Drill the holes in the wall using a hammer drill fitted with a 6 mm bit
and insert the 6 mm screw anchors;
07. Secure the bottom with the relative screws;
08. Before closing the control unit, make the electrical connections, refer-
ring to paragraph 6.4 and to fig. 23;
09. To close the control unit, position the bottom cover around 3 cm
higher than its final position, and push it downwards until it is fully
attached, as shown in fig. 25.

6.2 - INSTALL AND CONNECT PH200 PHOTOCELLS

(fig. 26)
• position each photocell 40/60 cm above the ground • position
them on the opposite sides of the zone to be protected • position
them as close as possible to the gate (maximum distance = 15 cm)
• a tube for passing the cables must be present in the fastening
point • orient the TX transmitter towards the central zone of the
RX receiver (allowed misalignment: maximum 5°)
01. Remove the front glass (Phase 01 - Fig. 26)
02. Remove the upper casing then the internal casing of the photocell
(Phase 02 - Fig. 26)
03. Perforate the lower casing in the point where the cables should pass
(Phase 03 - Fig. 26)
04. - Position the lower casing in the point where the tube for the pas-
sage of the cables arrives and mark the perforation points (Phase
04 - Fig. 26)
- Use a percussion drill to drill the wall with a 5 mm bit. Insert the 5
mm wall plugs (Phase 04 - Fig. 26)
- Pass the electrical cables through the relevant holes and fasten the
lower casing with the screws (Phase 04 - Fig. 26)
05. - Connect the electrical cable to the terminals of the TX and RX,
which must be connected in parallel to each other then connected to
the terminal on the control unit (Fig. 8). It is not necessary to observe
any polarity.
- Put back in place, in the following order, the inner casing followed
by the upper casing to be fastened with the two screws then, lastly,
insert the cover and exert slight pressure to close it (Phase 05 - Fig.
26).
6.3 - INSTALL AND CONNECT FL200 FLASHING INDICA-
TOR (fig. 27)
• Il lampeggiante deve essere posizionato in prossimità del
cancello e deve essere facilmente visibile. È possibile fissarlo su
una superficie orizzontale o su una superficie verticale. • Per il col-
legamento al morsetto Flash non è necessario rispettare alcuna polarità;
6.4 - ELECTRICAL CONNECTION TO CLB201 CONTROL
UNIT
CAUTION! – All electrical connections must be made while discon-
nected from the grid and disconnected from the backup battery
(if any).
CAUTION! – If the length of the gearmotors cable is insufficient, DO NOT
REPLACE THE CABLE, but extend it using a suitable cable (see technical
specifications in Table 3). The junction point between the two cables must
be isolated and protected by a junction box.
Bearing in mind that:
01. To facilitate connection operations, you can remove the terminals.
After having carried out the connections, insert the terminals back
into their relevant seats (fig. 24).
02. The RIVA200 cable is connected as shown in detail (A) in fig. 23.
03. Remember that in order to avoid the risk of the two leaves colliding,
CLB201 command unit first commands the motor connected to the
M2 output to open, and then the motor connected to M1, whilst dur-
ing closing, the reverse happens. Then, make sure that the (outer)
terminal M1 is connected the motor that drives the leaf resting on the
mechanical stop, and terminal M2 to the top leaf.
If you are using only one motor, gate with only one leaf, connect it to
terminal M2, leaving terminal M1 free.
04. Connect the control unit core and the shielded antenna cable screen
(B) in fig. 23.
