5.1.3. Up and Down buttons
• On a Telis MOD/VAR type local control, briefly pressing
the Up or Down button raises or lowers the E.V.B. fully.
The thumbwheel is used to angle the slats.
• On a standard Telis type local control, 2 modes are
available: EU mode and US mode.
The J4 RTS motor is factory set to operate in US mode
In US mode, briefly pressing the Up or Down button raises or lowers the E.V.B. fully. pressing and
holding the Up or Down button angles the slats.
In EU mode, pressing and holding the Up or Down button raises or lowers the E.V.B. fully. briefly
pressing the Up or Down button angles the slats.
5.1.4. Selecting the mode. (EU mode or US mode)
• The J4 RTS motor is factory set to operate in US mode.
However, the user can choose between the EU and US
modes.
• Press the Up and Down buttons for 5 seconds the E.V.B.
moves briefly.
• To confirm the new mode, press and hold the «my» and
Down buttons for 2 seconds: the blind moves briefly.

If the "privacy position" has been activated, the E.V.B. will not change position when the sun is
disappearing.
