Explosion protection In regard to its explosion protection, the motor
must have at least the same protection level as the
vacuum pump for the outside area ("outside" (o)).

tection level, e.g. for the explosion group or the
temperature class, can also be used.
The highest permissible motor power is regulated according to the
operating frequency and the operational mode, see table below:

Motor mounting instructions

Before the mounting of the motor, the coupling must be installed
between the motor and the vacuum pump. Respect the Installation and
Operating Instructions of the coupling. Regarding the explosion
protection, the coupling must show at least the same protection degree
like the vacuum pump for the outside category ("outside" (o)). See the
nameplate of the vacuum pump. Concerning the explosion group and
the temperature class, a higher protection degree can be applied. But
only Busch original couplings should be used.

Motor mounting

The motor is fixed to the center flange of the pump thank to 4 screws.
