10. AMPEROMETRIC BOARD KL3

10.1 Calibration of the amperometric protections on the KL3 board
- Position the trimmers TRM1, TRM2, TRM3 on the value corresponding to the current on the motor data plate.
- Select pressure switch operation with the button SB1.
- Start the electropumps one at a time and bring them to max. absorption conditions.
- Check: the led LL9 should stay off, if necessary turn the trimmer TRM1 clockwise until it goes off.
- The intervention of the thermal protection of motor one is indicated by the led LL12 on KL3; the protection
can be reset only manually by pressing the button SB13.
- Repeat calibration also for motors two and three, referring to the respective components:
- Regulate the trimmer TRM2, check led LL10 and LL13 and reset the protection of motor two with the
button SB14.
- Regulate the trimmer TRM3, check led LL11 and LL14 and reset the protection of motor three with the
button SB15.
10.2 Choice of automatic operation with pressure switches, on the KL3 board.
- The panels may be programmed to operate automatically with pressure switches in the event of blockage
of the control board KL1 or of the transducer; position JPM1 as described below:

JMP1 placed on the right: switches disabled even if SB1 is selected in pressure switch.
JMP1 positioned on the left: switches enable and automatic start in the case of brake KL1 board
breakdown.
