Every 400 working hours
Replace fuel filter element
(a)
Unscrew locking ring and remove filter
element (A Fig.38) and discard.
(b)
Place new filter element in filter bowl locating
on spring. Position bowl against gasket in
filter head and fit locking ring.
(c)
Vent the fuel system.
In-line fuel filter
(a)
Release clamp bands either side of in-line filter
(B Fig.38) and remove fuel pipes.
(b)
Fit new in-line filter to fuel pipes and replace
clamp bands.
Every 500 working hours or after cleaning 6 times
Change air cleaner element
Proceed as quoted in "every 75 hours" but discard the
element and replace with a new one.
MACHINE
Daily (Every 8 working hours)
Seat Compartment
Raise the engine cover and the seat . Inspect and
clean out if necessary all grass clippings and dirt
underneath seat and around pumps.
Daily (Every 8 working hours)
Check coolant level in radiator expansion bottle (B
Fig.39). Top up if necessary with 50% antifreeze
solution.
NOTE: Do not remove radiator filler cap if engine is
hot.
Check Tyre Pressures
The tyre pressure should be set at 1 kg/cm
Weekly (every 40 working hours)
Battery
Check condition of terminals (A Fig.40) and electrolite
level (B Fig.40). Top up as necessary with distilled
water. The battery is situated on the left hand side of
the machine behind the foot step under a plastic cover.
Generally check that all nuts, bolts and hydraulic
fittings are tight and retighten where necessary.
Every 100 working hours
Check Belt tensions
Before carrying out any belt adjustments remove the
starter key to prevent the engine from starting (see
starting notes page 24).

Every 200 working hours
Brakes
After placing axle on stand, remove wheel and inspect
brake discs and pads (See also End of Season
Servicing, page 64)
