NOTE! There may be functions described in these instructions that are not
available on the power source. In addition, controls on the power source may
differ slightly from those illustrated. However, the controls function in exactly
the same way.
VarioStar 3100 front
Error indicator

lights up if the power source is overheating

flashes if there is an error
Mains switch
for switching the power source on and off. Lights up when switched on.
Welding current sockets 1/2/3
for connecting the grounding (earthing) cable. By connecting to various sockets
the current rise at the moment of droplet transfer can be controlled, thereby
producing an optimum welding result. The connection options can be seen in the
tables on the inside of the left side panel
Torch control socket
for connecting the torch control plug.
