a) Check in each head 1 fig.7 that the oil reaches the level indicated by the indicator light 2 fig.6.
To top-up, unscrew the cap 3 fig.6.
b) Turn on the machine using the main switch 4 fig.8.
c) Set the required speed by using the keypad located on the intelli-wind 5 fig.10 (for more informa-
tion, consult the intelli-wind) manual after preselecting the crossover angle (1 or 2).
Based on the type of yarn, winding can be done with the crossover angle 1 (16°) or 2
(13°).
Each head is equipped with a lever 8 fig.6 that is used to make this selection.
This operation is performed with the head operating. Greater interweaving 1 (16°) is
normally used with thin and slippery yarn.
Speed is expressed in metres per minute and can be adjusted using intelli-wind (for more
information, consult the specific manual).
To obtain regularly-formed cones, never make adjustments while the cone is being formed
(speed~crossover angle~braking~waxing~rotation direction~different threading).
Do not form cones that are too soft that, sagging due to their weight, could intersect the
yarn guide 6 fig.6 and cause the yarn to break and deform the yarn guide itself.
