Handling tips
• Adjust the handlebar height to a comfortable position (waist height for normal
tilling).
• If the machine will not move forward, release the main clutch lever and press
down on the handlebar to raise the rotary little and pull the tiller backward
slightly, then raise the handlebar and pull the main clutch lever to work.
• Stop the tines before crossing gravel drives, walks, or roads. Stay alert for hidden
hazards or traffic.
• Stop the engine immediately if the tiller vibrates abnormally. Check the tiller for
damage or loose parts, and repair or replace them before using the tiller again.
• Turning:
Release the main clutch lever and lower the engine speed.
Move the differential lock lever to the UNLOCK position.
Set the gearshift lever to the 1 position.
Press the handlebar to raise the rotary little, and pull the main clutch lever and
turn the tiller.
After turning, release the main clutch lever and move the gearshift lever to the
Tine/wheel engaged position to work.
