MEASUREMENTS
STEP 2 Prepare the object to be tested
Make sure tested object to be disconnected from mains voltage!

- Switch "on" main switch of tested object as well as other switches, in
order to test all electronic parts of tested object!
- Short all live terminals of tested object (L1, L2, L3, N).
STEP 3 Carry out the measurement
Connect one test lead to shorted live terminals using alligator clip.

Connect the other test tip to PE terminal of tested object, see the figure

below.

Press the START/STOP key to start the measurement, wait until result

is stable then read displayed result.
Press the START/STOP key to stop the measurement.

Disconnect test leads.

Write down read result.

ATTENTION !
(only if tested machine is grounded i.e.
not isolated)
Test lead connection to "- ~" test
terminal should be connected to the
housing (PE terminal) otherwise the test
result will be below the actual value
(5MOhm in parallel) !
