MEASUREMENTS
STEP 2 Compensate resistance of test leads
Connect alligator clip to a test tip.

Short free test tip and alligator clip.

STEP 3 Carry out the measurement
- Connect one test lead to one test point of tested object (PE terminal or a
part of conductive housing) using alligator clip, see the figure below.
Connect the other test tip to another test point of tested object (assure

good contact).

Press the START/STOP key to start the measurement, wait 10 s until

acoustic signal (beep) is effected, then read displayed result and press
the START/STOP key to stop the measurement.
Disconnect test leads.

Write down read result.
