4. Activation
4.1. Set to work
Turn the key contact to position 1 (=ON) and wait till the lamp of preheating is extinguished, then turn the key con-
tact further to position 2 (=START) to start the fuel engine. Leave the key when the fuel engine is started.
The automatic speed control option has a fixed setting on 50 % (or place the throttle lever at position 1/2, depend-
ing the selected option). When the fuel engine is running, allow the engine to warm up at stationary revolutions.
Point the spray gun in to the open space and operate the spray gun until the water supply is completely de aerat-
ed. Operate the spray gun and adjust if necessary the spray pressure by operating the throttle lever/control stick.
For the use of hot water, set the temperature on desired value through the control stick and by following the
instructions of the temperature menu on the display (see also 4.3).
After turning 30 minutes into bypass, the cleaner will switch off and an indictaion will be visualized on the display.
Make sure that the valve is on position 'steam function' and the throttle is on position 'steam function', when you
wish to work with steam (at standard configuration)!
Use the appropriate steam equipment!
4.2. Control components
1. Key switch
The main switch is a key switch and is equipped with three positions:
- ON: The JMB will be switched on electrically without however starting the engine.
After switching on, all sensors will be tested automatically and the glowing process of the engine starts.
- START: As soon as the indication "preheating" is gone, the engine can be started.
- STOP: By turning the key back to the left the engine will be switched off again.
2. Control stick
The control stick is a switching element with four possible switching positions (left/right/above/below) and a zero
position (middle). This coordinate switch is suitable for simple navigation in the 4 selectable directions.
3. Display
On the display you receive possible disturbances and the operating instructions will be displayed if desired.
You also receive a message when service is necessary / desired, receive status info of the cleaner and check
working hours of the machine. Other operating possibilities will be displayed by means of operating the control
stick (see 4.3). The functioning of the control panel will be described further in this chapter.
4. Emergency stop
The emergency stop can be recognized on the red pressing button at a yellow slice.
- Push the emergency stop: the machine stops immediately at emergency situations.
- Pull out the emergency stop: the machine can be restarted.
The display screen will be disappeared (powered off) when the emergency stop is pushed.
5. Fuses
The electrical part off the JMB is protected by different fuses.
These fuses are mounted in the electric box which is mounted against the burner.
The fuse for the sparking plug is mounted on the left side and is accessible by opening the cover.
